About Us

Four Paws of Hope is a compassionate, community-driven nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming pets in need. We’re expanding our impact by launching a Lost & Found Pet Database to help reunite lost pets with their families faster and more efficiently.

Volunteer Role: App Developer

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled App Developer to help us build a user-friendly mobile and/or web application that allows users to:

• Report lost or found pets with photos, descriptions, and location data
• Search for pets by filters (location, breed, color, etc.)
• Receive notifications for matches or sightings
• Integrate with social media for wider reach
• Admin dashboard for moderation and data management

Ideal Skills

• Experience with mobile app development (iOS/Android) or web app frameworks
• Familiarity with databases (Firebase, MongoDB, etc.)
• UI/UX design sensibility
• Passion for animal welfare and community impact
