Title: Marketing and Social Media Manager (Remote, 5-10 hrs/week)

Overview:

Got a knack for Canva, a thing for spreadsheets, and a love of building online communities? Our Safe Space is looking for a brilliant and organized Marketing and Social Media Manager to help wrangle our growing team of creatives across time zones.

This is a remote volunteer role with real impact. We’re seeking someone who can guide, coordinate, and cheerlead our global team of volunteer content creators while keeping our message clear, kind, and consistent.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and support a diverse group of volunteers worldwide
• Coordinate content creation (graphics, captions, events) for Instagram, Facebook, Meetup, BlueSky, email - eventually Tiktok and beyond.
• Keep our content calendar flowing and our vibe glowing
• Collaborate with the Founder to develop new campaigns and strategies
• Occasionally jump into Canva or Google Docs/Sheets to organize the magic

What You Bring:

• 5-10 hours/week to dedicate to a mission that matters
• Experience managing teams or projects (especially across cultures/time zones)
• Fluency in Canva, Zoom, and Google Workspace
• A love of clear communication and kind collaboration
• Bonus points for experience in nonprofit marketing, grassroots movements, or scheduling tools (like Buffer, Later, or Meta Suite)
