Role Overview:

CrowdDoing invites seasoned systems change catalysts who are also at the forefront of social innovation, to be part of our community committed to addressing the world's most pressing challenges. This volunteer role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are intrinsically motivated by theory, dialogue, action, and the desire to foster a sense of community among change-makers. While this position doesn't offer financial compensation, the intangible rewards - in the form of social capital, learning, experience, camaraderie, transferable skills, and the fulfilment derived from mentorship - are invaluable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership: Share your expert knowledge, insights, and wisdom in systems change and social innovation, thereby augmenting CrowdDoing's initiatives.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic direction and innovative thinking to drive CrowdDoing’s systemic change initiatives.
  • Community Building: Help cultivate a sense of community, alleviate feelings of solitude often associated with tackling large challenges, and support fellow change-makers in our shared journey.

Roles & Activities:

  • Participation in Dialogues: Engage in enlightening dialogues, offering your unique perspective and wisdom while learning from others in our diverse community.
  • Capacity Building: Leverage your knowledge, experience, and leadership in systems change and social innovation to foster the growth of CrowdDoing's initiatives.
  • Social Capital Weaving: Use your network to connect like-minded individuals and organizations to relevant CrowdDoing initiatives, building a rich tapestry of collaboration.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship to volunteers, helping them navigate the intricacies of systemic change and social innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience leading efforts in systems change and social innovation, with a track record of tangible impact.
  • Deep understanding of theories and practices underpinning systems change and social innovation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a capacity for empathy, resilience, and collaboration.
  • Proven ability to foster connections and weave social capital to create impactful partnerships.
  • Comfortable in a highly collaborative and improvisational environment.
