Spanish Speaking Hospice Volunteers Needed

We are seeking Spanish speaking volunteers to provide companionship and support for our patients located throughout Fairfield, New Haven, Litchfield and/or Hartford counties. Compassus volunteers make a positive difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

As we serve a vast area of Connecticut, we match volunteers with patients close to their home. Many of our patients live in skilled nursing facilities, but we also serve those being cared for in their private residences.

Volunteers can help our patients by providing them with support through simple companionship, playing music, reading to them, watching TV, and most importantly lisenting to their life story. Volunteers also help support families who may not be able to visit their loved ones as often as they would like.
