Be the Friendly Face Behind Fresh Food Deliveries

Help Seniors Access Fresh Food and Volunteer Today!

More than 30% of families living below the poverty line face food insecurity, and seniors are especially affected. At Phoenix Family, we're working to change this, and we need your help.

Our Mobile Food Pantry brings fresh produce directly to seniors at affordable housing communities in the greater Kansas City area, removing the transportation barrier that often prevents them from getting the nutritious food they need.

As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in fighting hunger by:

• Unpacking the delivery truck
• Counting and sorting fresh food boxes
• Organizing and preparing deliveries
• Distributing food boxes directly to senior residents' doors in the apartment complex

This is a perfect opportunity if you enjoy organizing, working with a supportive team, and making a meaningful difference for neighbors in your community. Some lifting is required.
