Emergency Department Waiting Room Volunteer - EvergreenHealth

Greet patients and visitors as they enter the Emergency Department and direct them to the appropriate places. Volunteers can answer non-clinical questions, give directions, help locate patients and escort if needed. Check on patients in the waiting room, offering blankets, magazines, ice packs, etc. Support staff with errands and other tasks as needed. Fast paced, front line volunteer opportunity.

Volunteers must be age 18 and up, provide immunization records and TB screening and commit to at least 6 months, for one shift per week, 8am-12pm, 12-4pm, 4-8pm or 8pm-12 midnight. Monday - Sunday. Orientation and training provided. Gain healthcare experience while assisting clinical staff, patients, and visitors.
