Bi-lingual Volunteer Opportunity

Ascend Hospice of Missouri is seeking compassionate and bi-lingual individuals to join our volunteer program. Patients (men and women just like us) would love someone to visit, share stories, play music, hold their hand or just sit quietly with them so they are not alone. Some of our patients do not speak English as a first language and this can make communication with our patients and their families stressful. Our goal is to make their experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Having a bi-lingual volunteer to talk to could make a world of difference for our patients and their end of life experience. Not only could you be a great support to the patient you will also be a great support to family or friends who also need support at this very difficult time.

Training is free and at your convenience. You have the support of our team and other volunteers.
