About this Opportunity
PNA envisions our Hot Meal Program (HMP) as more than just meeting basic needs-we see it as a space to foster connection, creativity, collaboration, and offer radical hospitality to all. We provide hundreds of meals each week to seniors, people without stable or permanent housing and others in need. We are proud of our efforts to provide the best service to our diners, and are pleased to be able to offer medical and dental services, physical therapy, haircuts, hygiene items, a community closet, and an art club - all free of charge to our diners!
The newest offering, Art Club, meets twice a week before meals for creative projects, snacks, and socializing. Popular activities include "Heart Soul" collages, shrinky-dink charms, coffee filter macchias, and lithograph lanterns. Art Club serves as a social glue, connecting individuals and creating community.
We are looking for someone passionate about strengthening community, and able to use strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with guest artists via email, manage the Art Club calendar, and maybe even create event flyers on Canva. Potential for working from home after orientation and training. 2-3 hours per week.
