Job Title: Red Shield Community Pantry Volunteer

Reports To: Volunteer Coordinator

GENERAL PURPOSE

To assist our Pantry Coordinator to distribute food to our clients during our monthly Red Shield Pantry drive-through program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Arrives on site at 8:15 AM to help organize the food for distribution
• Assist in packing shopping carts to be taken outside for distribution
• Helps load the food from the carts into client cars
• Work together with the team to ensure a smooth distribution process

LOCATION AND OPERATING HOURS

• Red Shield is held at 1033 Bellows Rd.in Akron, OH.
• It operates every 2 nd Wednesday of the month from 8:15 AM - 11:15 AM

EXPERIENCE

• Experience is not necessary.
• Lifting 10 pounds.
