Do you enjoy heartfelt conversations, playing games, or sharing stories over music or a good book? Apreva Hospice is seeking compassionate Patient Support Volunteers to offer companionship and social engagement to our patients during their end-of-life journey.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide conversational companionship to patients who may feel isolated or alone
• Engage in simple, joyful activities such as:
  • Playing board games or cards
  • Listening to or sharing music
  • Reading books, poetry, or magazines aloud
• Offer a comforting, consistent presence through regular visits

No Experience? No Problem.

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. No prior experience is required — just a compassionate heart and a willingness to be present. All necessary training will be provided.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Friendly, empathetic individuals who enjoy spending time with others
• Good listeners and natural conversationalists
• Reliable and respectful of hospice boundaries and confidentiality
• Open to learning and completing our hospice volunteer training
