About this Opportunity

Idealist Volunteer: “Handy Helpers” (Interior/Exterior • Organize • Clean • Light Repairs), Assist the Pastor

Serve together. Build together. Join one or a small, friendly crew (groups of 1–3) at our humble Home Church to make spaces safe, welcoming, and organized for prayer, learning, and community care.

Snapshot

  • Who: Individuals or small private groups (1–3) — beginners welcome
  • Where: Q’s Ministry / BHITS (onsite at our location or outing or offsite team meeting)
  • When: Flexible—weekdays or weekends; 3–6 hour shifts (longer by arrangement)
  • Contact: [email protected] (attach a resume if you have one; if not, we’ll help you make one!)

What You’ll Do (pick what fits your skills/comfort)

  • Light handyman & upkeep: replace or tighten wood panels, railings, trim; touch-ups and small fixes
  • Painting & finishing: prep, paint, and may apply sealants (weather-appropriate)
  • Organizing & setup: create work spaces/work stations; organize books, materials, and storage shed
  • Sanctuary & prayer space: tidy, arrange seating, refresh décor
  • Cleaning: sweep, mop floors, dust bookcases, wipe surfaces, trash/recycling
  • Outdoor care: clear landscape areas, trim, light weeding, sweep walkways
  • Decor & beautification: simple décor, seasonal refreshes, signage

We’ll match tasks to your comfort level—no experience required.
