About this Opportunity
Idealist Volunteer: “Handy Helpers” (Interior/Exterior • Organize • Clean • Light Repairs), Assist the Pastor
Serve together. Build together. Join one or a small, friendly crew (groups of 1–3) at our humble Home Church to make spaces safe, welcoming, and organized for prayer, learning, and community care.

- Who: Individuals or small private groups (1–3) — beginners welcome
- Where: Q’s Ministry / BHITS (onsite at our location or outing or offsite team meeting)
- When: Flexible—weekdays or weekends; 3–6 hour shifts (longer by arrangement)

What You’ll Do (pick what fits your skills/comfort)
- Light handyman & upkeep: replace or tighten wood panels, railings, trim; touch-ups and small fixes
- Painting & finishing: prep, paint, and may apply sealants (weather-appropriate)
- Organizing & setup: create work spaces/work stations; organize books, materials, and storage shed
- Sanctuary & prayer space: tidy, arrange seating, refresh décor
- Cleaning: sweep, mop floors, dust bookcases, wipe surfaces, trash/recycling
- Outdoor care: clear landscape areas, trim, light weeding, sweep walkways
- Decor & beautification: simple décor, seasonal refreshes, signage
We’ll match tasks to your comfort level—no experience required.

Safety & Accessibility
- We provide gloves, masks (as desired), eye protection for painting/sealants, and step-stools/ladders with a spotter.

We Provide
- Cleaning supplies, paint, sealants, tools, and protective gear
- Friendly supervision, snacks, and water
- Verification of hours and a letter/certificate of service upon request
- Resume help if you’d like it (we can help you build one from your volunteer experience!)
