About Mothers Against Addiction:
Mothers Against Addiction (MAA) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families affected by addiction through support groups, 1-on-1 counseling, community outreach, and awareness campaigns. We believe that when we support mothers, we help break the cycle of addiction and rebuild families.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Vice Chair & Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This is a remote volunteer position perfect for someone who enjoys administrative work, is detail-oriented, and wants to make a real impact behind the scenes at a growing nonprofit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Vice Chair & CMO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings and sending reminders
- Track projects, tasks, and deadlines using tools like Trello, Google Sheets, or similar
- Take clear, professional notes during meetings and share follow-up action items
- Organize files, folders, and documents in Google Drive
- Draft emails, proposals, or follow-up messages with guidance
- Help coordinate communications with designers, volunteers, and partners
- Support marketing and partnership tracking (optional based on experience)
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication—both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable using digital tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack
- Self-motivated and reliable; able to work independently
- Bonus: Experience with marketing, partnerships, or executive support
Time Commitment:
- 5–10 hours per week (flexible, remote)
- Minimum 3-month commitment preferred
