Become a Friendly Visitor Volunteer for Hospice Patients - Give a Gift of Your Time
Heartland Hospice "Friendly Visitors" help to enhance the quality of those facing end of life by bringing the gift of caring companionship and providing support to their family. No experience is necessary. The volunteer may offer to read to the patient, play music, assist with activities, talk with or simply be present. Must be comfortable visiting with those having Dementia and may be non-verbal.
