Location: Flexible - Groups will be held virtually or in person based on mutual availability and preference
Organization: RVNAhealth
Commitment: Approximately 1-2 hours per month
Are you a compassionate listener with a background in counseling, social work, or mental health support? Do you believe in the importance of caring for caregivers? Join RVNAhealth as a Support Group Facilitator for our dedicated hospice team.
What You'll Do:
- Facilitate monthly support groups for hospice staff members (physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, aides, volunteers, music therapists, and more)
- Create a safe and confidential space for staff to process grief, reflect on their work, and build resilience
- Guide conversations around common emotional challenges in hospice care such as loss, burnout, and compassion fatigue
- Collaborate with RVNAhealth’s Volunteer and Hospice leadership teams to schedule sessions and ensure ongoing staff engagement
Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in counseling, social work, bereavement, chaplaincy, or mental health-related fields
- Is comfortable facilitating group discussions with compassion, neutrality, and cultural sensitivity
- Can commit to hosting one session per month, in person (located in our Ridgefield office)
- Is passionate about supporting those who provide end-of-life care
