Support Red Cross Life Saving Mission - Serve as a Blood Services Donor Ambassador!

Welcome and greet blood donors during a Red Cross Blood Drive by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a rewarding / positive experience, so donors return next time.

Enhance your customer service skills and gain experience working directly in healthcare setting. Staff reception area, support donor check-in process with their appointment time, ask donors to read required medical material, and make telephone calls for reminders and additional follow up.

Support hospitality experience by offering refreshments and giving immediate attention to anyone feeling unwell. Invite donors to return by providing educational information about the positive impact and lifesaving service of blood donations.

SCHEDULE

Weekday Afternoons Approx. 12 PM to 6 PM / Minimum of one shift (6 hours) per month required.

REQUIRED TRAINING

• Orientation to American Red Cross 1 hour
• Blood Drive Team specific training 1 hour
• Ongoing updates / training
• Must be comfortable using a computer / technology
