Afterschool Tutors for C E Mitchell Services Foundation

C E Mitchell Services Foundation is looking for dedicated volunteer tutors to support students in grades 4-8 in reading, math, financial literacy, and beginner coding.

If you're a college student pursuing education, or a retired teacher looking to give back, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real impact in your community.

What You'll Do:

• Provide 1-on-1 or small group tutoring (virtually or in-person)

• Help students build confidence and improve academic skills

• Support enrichment lessons in coding or financial literacy (training provided)

Ideal Volunteers:

• College students studying education, social work, or related fields

• Retired teachers or educators who love working with youth

• Individuals with tutoring, mentoring, or teaching experience (not required but helpful)

Time Commitment:

Flexible schedule, up to 10 hours a week

Location:

Douglas County, GA (in-person) or virtual
