About this Opportunity

The SafeHome project is creating a web dashboard to assess the earthquake risk of specific addresses in the city of San Francisco. We are nearing live release and need help building the Alpha version of our product.

Role

We are seeking an Experienced Front-End Developer to join our team and help us build and enhance our website and digital presence. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about using their technical skills to support a cause that makes a difference. As a volunteer, you’ll play an integral part in creating user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing websites and applications for our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end features for our website and web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance and user experience.
  • Contribute to project planning and provide technical recommendations.
