Weekend Warrior Hospice Volunteer Needed at Grandhaven Assisted Living in Lansing!

Can you spare an hour for an elderly hospice patient? CorsoCare Hospice is seeking compassionate, empathetic individuals who are willing to give their time and supportive presence by visiting hospice patients at Grandhaven Assisted Living in Lansing. We have a specific need for a volunteer who can visit on Saturdays to offer companionship and caregiver relief.

Our volunteers share their time in many ways and may include reading to the patient, taking a walk, playing cards, watching TV, chatting or some other low-key activity the patient feels up to doing. Sometimes just sitting with them is enough.

You will be provided ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout your service with us and will be invited to voluntary education opportunities and appreciation events.
