Seeking Green Thumbs & Big Hearts for Youth Urban Farming! Volunteers Needed, including a committee team members!

Hey there! It’s Denise from Cibus Mission. Our Youth Urban Farm Program is gearing up to launch and we'd love your help to get it off the ground!

We’re forming a small committee to plan the launch—and we need weekly hands-on volunteers once the program starts. Here’s the dirt:

🌱 How You Can Help:

• Join Zoom planning meetings (before launch) to brainstorm awareness events and logistics.
• Volunteer weekly (2–3 hours/session) to mentor kids ages 8–18 in planting, harvesting, and all things green!
• Spread the word—help us recruit more growers via social media or community chats.
• Ideas on where to find more like minded volunteers like you!

No farming degree required—just enthusiasm! (And yes, background checks are needed for everyone’s safety.)
