A Fit, Fun and Friendly Activity Buddy is Needed for a Local Guy

Fit, Fun and Friendly? If you like the Roller Derby, skating or other activities you can be a buddy to this greaty guy who is legally blind. He loves the outdoors, kayaking, canoeing, tandem biking, bowling, hiking or walking but he needs a buddy. If you love Ron-a-Roll or Nomads and like to get out and get active this is for you!

This posting will require you to pick up the fellow in West Hartford and take him with you when you go to any of these activities.

Requirements to be a great volunteer include:

• a desire to help others;
• a pleasant demeanor;
• a good reading/speaking voice;
• average reading skills;
• organizational or planning abilities;
• a good driving record;
• a clear criminal history;
• two references
• access to a car with proof of insurance;
• a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage.
