2025 Volunteer Appreciation Event Planning Volunteer

York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Volunteer Appreciation Event Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community and making an impact.

The Volunteer Appreciation Event Volunteer is responsible for:

• Building excitement amongst volunteers to celebrate their peers

• Working in a team to ensure that the event runs smoothly

• Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone

• Arriving to the event on time

Who We're Looking For:

• Minimum age: 12

• Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and softwares

• Complete training prior to start date

• Can commit to the shift schedule

Bonus Skills:

• Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English

• Previous volunteer experience
