About this Opportunity
Do you enjoy crocheting and want to use your skills to give back to the community? U+ Toastmasters, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals build their public speaking and leadership skills, is looking for a Crocheting Assistant Volunteer and help bring comfort, creativity, and connection to our community programs!
What You’ll Do:
- Support crocheting initiatives that benefit local community members
- Help create handcrafted items for events, fundraisers, or outreach programs
- Share your skills with others and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment
- Collaborate with team members on creative projects

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn! Ideal candidates will meet the following:
✔ Age between 12 - 30
✔ Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software
✔ Commitment to completing basic training
✔ Fluent in English
✔ Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (if over 18)
Bonus Skills
✔ Experience in basic crocheting techniques
✔ Fluency or strong proficiency in a language other than English
