Come volunteer at the American Cancer Society Iowa City, IA Hope Lodge, offering free on-site parking to active volunteers, flexible schedules and a variety of volutneer roles! We are conveniently located across from the Carver Hawkeye Arena parking lot, behind Ronald McDonald off of Hawkins Drive.

Hope Lodge provides free overnight accommodations to active cancer patients and their caregivers, as well as access to on-site laundry, exercise area and community pantry.

Volunteers aid with daily Hope Lodge operations, leading activities (music, art, education, healthy meal planning, exercise and more), providing meals, cleaning & organization and maintaining the facility.

Volunteer roles offer an amazing opportunity to interact with active cancer patients during their treatment journey and aid in their overall wellbeing.
