Hospice Companion Visits - Huntley, IL

At St. Croix Hospice, care and comfort are tailored to the unique preferences of our patients, families and primary caregivers. We individualize care to ensure that it is provided in a way that brings dignity, respect, and compassion. St. Croix Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to serve in the following volunteer opportunities in or near the designated service areas or zip codes:

• Virtual/Companion Visits - We can match you with a patient or patients that are located near you. At this time, only virtual companion visits are offered to patients. As a volunteer, you would call patients and/or families by phone or video tablet to offer emotional support through conversation and active listening.
• Bereavement Volunteers provide support during the 13-month period following the death of a hospice patient through chek in phone calls.
