Khmer-Speaking Friendly Companion for Elders at Episcopal Homes

Do you speak Camodian Khmer and enjoy spending time with older adults? Episcopal Homes is seeking compassionate volunteers to serve as one-to-one companions for our residents whose first language is Khmer. Share stories, read aloud, write letters, play games, and reminisce about life, family, careers, and hobbies - all while making a real difference in someone's day. Our two Independent Living facilities that include Cambodian elders include Carty Heights at 412 Dunlap Street North and Kings Crossings at 500 Dale Street North; both are off of University Avenue and are accessible from public transportation with buses and light rail and include a free parking lot and off street parking for a vehicle.
