About this Opportunity
Behind the Scences Volunteers will meet with the Founder of March of the Blanketeers once weekly, on Sundays, to participate in various tasks, such as:
-Packing Boxes
-Cutting Fabric
-Organization of materials, and supplies
-Hand-sew labels on Blankets (one per blanket)
-Stuffing Envelopes
-Sorting Knitting Needles by size; two, or five at a time
-Packing bags of hats, bears, and blankets.
-Labeling Cards
-Organizing cards
-Organizing Blankets, and hats
-Posting Flyers, and brochures
-Organizing messy areas
-Helping with Events that fall on a Sunday, with setting-up, and packing up.
Ideal Volunteer Charaterstics:
-Respectful in mannerism, as well as towards property
-Must be well Groomed
-Hardworking
-Knowledgable
-Honest
-Trust-worthy
-Someone who puts more good in, than they take
-Sober
-Non-smoker, including Vaping
-Must be able to work well with others
-Speaking English Fluently is REQUIRED
Volunteering will occur every Sunday Afternoon at Founders' House, on Long Island in Smithtown, NY. Please Sign up for this Opportunity to set a time to volunteer. Thank You!
However Optional, this is eligible for Two Hours of Community Service Hours, per Week. Please bring along your Form, or a Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope.
Currently, some at-home behind the scences tasks are up for grabs with permission on our Discord Server, until our Wrike Subscription is paid.
