Role Overview
Creshendo is seeking a Curriculum Development Specialist to build a virtual, scalable curriculum from the ground up for vulnerable populations. This curriculum will be designed for remote implementation and must be adaptable to different cultural and social contexts. You will play a crucial role in drafting structured learning materials and a clear blueprint for program implementation, ensuring it is accessible to displaced individuals worldwide.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in curriculum design and is excited to work with an international team to create an educational framework that empowers refugees and migrants with essential life skills, workforce development, and community integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Blueprint Development: Design a structured curriculum that can be virtually implemented for vulnerable populations, covering topics such as self-reliance, integration, and workforce development.
- Instructional Design: Create engaging learning modules, educational guides, and interactive materials that can be delivered remotely.
- Collaboration & Research: Work closely with Creshendo’s global team, incorporating best practices in refugee education and community-based learning.
- Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from pilot groups to refine and improve the curriculum.
- Adaptation & Accessibility: Ensure materials are culturally sensitive, easily accessible, and adaptable for different learning levels and technological constraints.
Qualifications
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or education.
- Proven ability to design structured learning programs and build curricula from scratch.
- Familiarity with remote learning strategies and virtual education tools.
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of refugee and migrant issues, including cultural adaptation in education.
- Ability to collaborate with an international team and adapt curriculum for diverse learners.
- Availability to dedicate at least 5-8 hours per week.
