Military Veteran Needed for Hospice Volunteering (North KC)

Ascend Hospice is recruiting Volunteers who have served in the Military to help hospice patients who are Veterans.

Ascend Hospice is offering volunteer opportunities for compassionate, empathetic Veterans who want to enhance their lives by giving their time to others in their community. Ascend Hospice values those who have served in the Military and are recruiting Veteran’s to help our hospice patients who are Veterans. Ascend has a specialized program for honoring our patients who are Veterans. As a fellow Veteran, your experience helps you uniquely relate to our Veteran patients and their families with your comradery, distinct culture and common experience.

Opportunities Include:

-Providing Companionship

-Providing Support to Caregivers

-Participate in Veterans Pinning Ceremonies
