About this Opportunity
Come join the JAYCEE Alumni Club and areawide volunteers for some fun-filled public landscaping activities such as planting fall flowers, trimming trees, pruning shrubbery, restoring planting beds, painting fences, shoring up trail/embankments, fertilizing, watering, sweeping lane, sign maintenance,trail walking/hiking along the award-winning JAYCEE Corridor & Arboretum and state Senator Donald Roch Riverwalk! The Arboretum is a beautiful 400 linear foot natural Esplanade with a 1.3 mile Riverwalk wilderness trail, which meanders along the confluence of the Pawtuxet River & Watershed. It's portal entrance is located @ Riverpoint COMMUNITY Park - 110 Hay Street - W. Warwick, RI @ the West Bay Bikepath / GREENWAY!
The JAYCEE Riverwalk Corridor & Arboretum, traverses the newly-established West Warwick Walkway (Pawtuxet River Walkway Project) and the extensive six(6) mile West Bay Bikepath or Greenway, connecting the municipalities of Cranston, Warwick, West Warwick and Coventry in central Rhode Island.
