Appliance Repair Volunteer

As an Appliance Repair volunteer, this position will ensure donated appliances are in good working order and ready for resale.

Position Duties Include:

• Testing electric appliances such as dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers to make sure they are in working order.
• Cleaning of appliances.
• Making small repairs on appliances.

Skills and Requirements:

• Be able to lift a heavy appliance with the help of a hand truck.
• Enjoy mechanical work.
• Not required but a great bonus is being able to make small repairs.

Time Commitment:

This position requires a commitment of 2-4 days a week 3-5-hour shifts, Tuesday - Friday between 9am - 3pm. A six-month commitment is also preferred.
