About this Opportunity
The Savoy Fire Department would like to thank you for your interest in our department. Serving your community as a firefighter is a great way to help others. The position of firefighter takes a special type of person that is willing to give of their time to train and educate themselves. They must prepare mentally and physically to respond to emergencies in our community.
The Savoy Fire Department also hires new members and volunteers who have special talents and job skills to help support the firefighting and emergency response aspect of the organization.
The Savoy Fire Department hires new applicants at least once per year and possibly more frequently than that based on the needs of the department and the amount of applications it has received.
