Firefighter

The Plymouth Township Fire Department serves a community of around 2,000 residents over 22.4 square miles. The area geography consists of a rural and suburban landscape as well as 11 miles of interstate and state highways. To our northern border we have water rescue and high angle rescue incident opportunities. The department responds to approximately 450 calls per year.

Candidates will receive a monthly incentive of $20 per day call and $30 per night call for responding to emergencies. Candidates will also receive $20 per department training attended.

Example: $20 x 5 calls a month = $100 $30 x 2 night calls a month = $60 $20 x 3 trainings a month = $60 Total = $220 a month or $2,640 a year
