EMT/AEMT

The City of Black River Falls / Black River Falls Fire Department is seeking part-time Emergency Medical Technicians and Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians. The service area consists of over 1,000 square miles, with a population over 20,000. The service responds to 2,200+ calls annually. Successful candidates will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide Emergency Medical Care to patients in a wide variety of environments. Responsibilities will include respond to 911 calls and provide emergency medical care within the Scope of Practice for an EMT or AEMT as outlined by the State of Wisconsin. Additional roles include participating in public relations events, standby at special events, and maintaining department equipment and property. Hours of work vary with available shifts from 10:00 pm-6:00 am Monday thru Friday, and 6:00 am -6:00 pm and 6:00pm -6:00 am Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.
