About this Opportunity
positions. Successful applicants will perform duties of a Volunteer Firefighter and/or EMT in responding to emergencies in our 65 square mile response area. Our Fire District is predominantly volunteer; the community depends very heavily on our well trained volunteer staff of emergency personnel. Being a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT carries with it many benefits which are fully funded by the Fire District without any cost to you as a volunteer. They include: • Training courses, training supplies • Equipment and uniforms • On duty accident and disability insurance • Volunteer firefighter’s pension program • Nominal fee reimbursements for duty shifts • Fully funded membership in the District’s Volunteer Firefighters’ Association. Membership offers many benefits including social and community service events.
