About this Opportunity
We are in need of anyone who has services to offer that will make our community safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to any emergency situation. We provides opportunities for people to support Firefighters / First Responders and participate in a range of measures to make their families, homes, and communities safer from the threats of crime, terrorism, and disasters of all kinds. Examples:
Conducting fire prevention and life safety education in the community, Providing rehab or canteen services (providing food and water to Firefighters / First Responders during lengthy incidents) Raising much-needed funds for the department, Performing data entry tasks, Assisting with bookkeeping, Providing administrative support, Conducting public relations, Assisting with events, Preplanning and conducting research for emergency incidents, and Apparatus and facility maintenance
