Resident Live-In Firefighter

Immediate opening for future positions within department that will allow for individuals to reside at the fire station rent free in exchange for work time responding to alarms, maintenance of station and equipment, and attending training. Ideal candidates would be full or part-time students enrolled at the community college, college, or university level. Personnel accepted as Live-Ins will be expected to be actively involved in response to incidents, departmental training, daily operations of the department, and other duties as assigned. Hours are flexible. Accepted applicants will be able to begin program late 2015 after station addition and remodel is completed (projected completion date October 2015). Station amenities include bunk rooms, gym area, and day room as well as wireless internet access.
