About this Opportunity
We are actively seeking dedicated and motivated individuals who have a passion for serving their community in the most direct way possible. As a Volunteer Firefighter, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the safety and well-being of our community, participate in physically challenging work, and be a part of a highly respected and valued team. No prior firefighting experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Responding to fire emergencies, providing firefighting activities to save life and property, and minimizing fire damage.
Assisting in rescuing individuals from dangerous situations.
Participating in fire drills and attending training classes to learn firefighting techniques, first aid procedures, and other information.
Maintaining and cleaning firefighting equipment and fire stations.
Educating the community about fire safety and prevention.
Attending community events to represent the fire department and foster a positive public image.
