Paid On Call Firefighter

The Howell Area Fire Department is seeking dedicated and committed individuals looking to make a difference in their community by providing emergency services to those in need. Paid On Call Firefighters are on call, toned out by 911/central dispatch and expected to respond to a multitude of emergency calls around the clock, throughout the day and night time hours in the greater Howell Area consisting of the City of Howell, neighboring townships (Cohoctah, Howell, Marion, Oceola). Firefighters work alongside neighboring departments under automatic mutual aid agreements ( Brighton, Fowlerville, Hartland, Putnam, and others not listed) along with other local emergency service agencies (Livingston County Ambulance, Livingston County Sheriff, Howell Police department, Michigan State Police).
