About this Opportunity
As a Volunteer Firefigher, you will become a Qualified Suppression Firefighter after completing the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Council standards for registered volunteer firefighter. The department also provide Emergency Medical Responder training for those volunteers that respond to medical and rescue calls.
The department has a 6 month probabtionary period for all volunteer positions. New volunteers are expected to attend a minimum of 50% of training sessions. Training occurs every Tuesday evening from 6:30p till 9:30p at Station 1 or other designated area.
