It's hard to believe that one of every 5 adults in Manatee County can't read this text, keeping them from contributing to society to the fullest extent. Here's the Good News! We are looking for some great folks to help us improve adult literacy skills in Manatee County by providing FREE literacy classes. You can help them gain the basic literacy skills they need to succeed as workers, parents, and community citizens by volunteering with M.L.C.
