About this Opportunity
Join Chicago Cares and Chicago Grows Food as we pack grow kits in support of their Grow Your Groceries Grow Kit program! This program provides reusable fabric grow bags, soil, seeds or a seedling, and instructional booklets that equip and empower people to begin growing their own food at home. Volunteers will help assemble these kits so they can be distributed to community residents and help increase access to high quality & nutritious food on Chicago’s South Side
