About this Opportunity

ENL Tutors teach English as a New Language to newly arrived refugees and humanitarian migrants in New York. This fully remote role pairs volunteers with students individually or in groups (up to six), based on their English proficiency, from none to beginner. Through weekly two-hour sessions, volunteers help refugees build essential communication skills for interacting with neighbors, employers, and service providers, supporting Commonpoint clients' long-term success.
