Shelter Heroes are part of a roster of American Red Cross volunteers in your community who are trained and prepared to help their neighbors in Texas and Louisiana to provide food, shelter, comfort and care for your community when a hurricane or other major disaster strikes. Natural disasters like hurricanes and wildfires are occurring more frequently with greater intensity. Your community needs compassionate people like you to meet that growing challenge.
