About this Opportunity
The AmeriCorps Seniors Volunteer Companion Program is recruiting new volunteers. Volunteers 55 years and older are paired with other seniors 55 and over to provide companionship, care, while combating loneliness and isolation. Volunteers receive a modest stipend and mileage reimbursement for their service. Volunteers must reside in Harris County, (Houston), TX, pass a FBI background check, and meet income guidelines.
