Become a Volunteer Driver
Seeking Volunteer Drivers to Transport Our Passengers
Do you have a reliable car, a desire to help others, and some free time? KVCAP Transportation Services is seeking individuals who are ready for a rewarding experience as aKV Van Volunteer Driver.
KV Van Volunteers are used to drive our passengers to medical and social service appointments throughout Maine. Drivers receive a generous mileage reimbursement for their service.
Requirements:
Valid Maine Drivers License
Good Driving Record (Past 10 Years)
21 years of Age or Older
Current Vehicle Registration & Insurance
Ability to Pass Background Checks
Benefits:
Choose your schedule A few hours or few days
ROUNDTRIP REIMBURSEMENT, up to $0.67 per mile
Mileage reimbursement is nontaxable and it doesnt impact any benefits (ex. Social Security, MaineCare, SSI/SSDI, etc.).
Maine State Vehicle Inspection REIMBURSED!
Eligible for discounts on auto parts and repairs through specific local businesses
