Volunteers make the difference in the lives of the familiesthat come through our doors-by cooking, hosting, listening, nurturing or simply by being there. Interested in joining our volunteer teams?http://rmhcmaine.org/volunteer/ Ronald McDonald House of Portland is in need of volunteers to help keep this "Home Away From Home" running. Volunteers work in three-hour shifts from 9am to 9pm each day, and assist with check-in and check-out of families, administrative tasks, and housekeeping. If you're interested in helping families stay together while their child is hospitalized, please let us know! Weekend Managers reside at the House and manage all basic aspects of daily operations while staff are off-duty. Weekend Managers cover one or two weekends a year (more if desired) from Friday 5 pm - Saturday 5 pm or Saturday 5 pm to Sunday 5 pm. This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together!
