Host an International High School Exchange Student

Each year, the CIEE USA High School program provides hundreds of international high school students from around the world, the amazing opportunity to live and study in the U.S. CIEE students are bright, passionate young men and women who bring with them new perspectives and an adventurous spirit to explore everything America has to offer. So come be a part of the adventure! CIEE is looking for loving host families for our students arriving this August. Students will spend from five months to a full academic year in the U.S. Our international exchange students are between fifteen and eighteen years old, speak English, and arrive in America with comprehensive medical insurance and spending money. At CIEE, we use a thoughtful and thorough approach to connect your family with one of our incredible students. Throughout the year, you'll work closely with a CIEE Local Coordinator in your area to ensure that your family and exchange student have the best experience possible. Becoming a CIEE host family is an experience of mutual discovery. When you give an international student the opportunity to explore American culture with your family, you'll discover a new culture as well?from their values and traditions, to language and food.
