About this Opportunity

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP; also known as Food Sup, or the Food Supplement Program, formerly known as Food Stamps) is an important safety net program designed to help individuals stretch their food budget and buy nutritious foods they need to live a healthy lifestyle. 1 in 4 Mainers go hungry at some point in their lives- but many Mainers are too proud to receive SNAP, believe they do not qualify for SNAP, or have trouble figuring out the application process.
