Day Manager (Shelter Cleaner Supervisor)

Overall Responsibility: To supervise and oversee daily cleaning operations of the
shelter - Several people needed!

Time Commitment: 8:00 am until shelter duties are complete - Various days/shifts available during the work week, but also can need a Sunday manager. Approximately3 - 4 hours per shift)

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Open the shelter for volunteers

• Check phone messages

• Supervise, train, and be point of contact for volunteers

• Answer phone calls, take messages, and forward them to the appropriate

individual

• Greet and assist visitors

• Assist with surrenders as needed

• Close the shelter

• Willingness to participate in shelter duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Good organizational skills

• Strong leadership skills

• Ability to communicate well with volunteers and the public

• Training skills
