Become a Volunteer Screener for the Red Cross!

In the Volunteer Screener role, you may well be the first real Red Crosser a candidate gets to talk with, and they are eager. Youll want to seek to understand what brought prospective volunteers to the Red Cross, their areas of interest, and what positions they would find most meaningful. Youll use your understanding from talking with the volunteer candidates to match expressed interest with the needs of the organization. Therefore, youll be connecting new recruits with positions for which they are both interested, well-suited, and needed. Then you will update their status in our volunteer management system.

You can do this role remotely from your living room in Northern New England or, if you prefer, from an NNE Red Cross office near you. Youll want to have 4 8 hours a week available for this role.
